And while the open source version of Riak may suit your production needs, you may find that enterprise level features such as advanced data analysis, replication, and top tier support better suit your growth needs.

A Tough Environment For Young Companies

We recognize that the current funding environment is less than optimal, making it increasingly difficult for even the most promising, innovative startups to raise much-needed capital. Many companies are figuring out ways to forego traditional funding altogether and need to watch their budgets closely. We understand all this because we are living it, too.

The Riak EnterpriseDS for Startups program is designed to meet the needs of today’s cutting edge startups by providing them with access to Riak EnterpriseDS at a significant discount to standard pricing.

We are confident that companies in the program will benefit from Riak EnterpriseDS, so we have decided to make the enterprise version of Riak available to qualified companies on a “pay what you can” basis.

There are no strings. Companies are on their honor to pay us what their budgets allow. Period.

Typically, to take advantage of the EnterpriseDS for Startups program you should be:

  1. incorporated as business
  2. self-funded or in the pre-institutional funding phase
  3. willing to participate in case studies and serve as a reference

Basho will provide you not only with access to the EnterpriseDS code and features, but also work with you to design and support a production deployment of Riak that best suits your business.
